Methodology

Scoring rules we do not bend

Evidence only

Every probe records what was observed and where it came from. Nothing is estimated, inferred, or filled in.

Not measured is not zero

When a signal cannot be measured, the category reports NOT MEASURED with a reason instead of inventing a score.

Coverage is published

Each category shows how many applicable probes were measurable, so you can judge how complete the reading is.

Evidence-depth floor

Categories with too few measurable probes are labeled Limited Evidence rather than presented as confident.

Versioned calibration

Weights and thresholds come from the published calibration profile. Current standards version: bvc-standards-v1.3.

Shadow Mode

New categories run and record data without affecting the production Visibility Score until they are calibrated.
